The Company:
Our client is an industry leader in detection technology, providing cargo and vehicle inspection systems and services for ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud. 

They offer a broad array of scanning system configurations that leverage low-, medium-, and high-energy X-ray technology—or multiple X-ray technologies—to address each customer’s unique security application requirements.

Due to their continued success, they now have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the organisation.

The Field Service Engineer Role:
As the Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance support of the full range of their product’s in the UK & EMEA.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

• Installation of the full range of the Company’s equipment at customer premises in the UK and EMEA
• Routine preventative and breakdown maintenance of the Company’s equipment at customer premises in the UK and EMEA
• Provide out of hours standby cover as part of established teams
• Carry out basic Operator and Technical training when required at customer premises
• Carry out site surveys and advise customer on technical matters prior to installations
• Learn the basics of HBS products so assistance can be given to other teams
• Uphold the Company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous working in a customer facing environment would be beneficial
• Electronics and Computer experience essential, along with working knowledge of Microsoft office related programs
• Electronics and computer knowledge
• Must have qualifications in subjects relevant to the role
