Account Executive - National Opportunity 

Background

Snap Finance is a rapidly growing FinTech company focused on digital disruption in the financial services industry. You will work in a small, dynamic team who are building the UK business to replicate the successes in the USA.  You will need to collaborate directly with the UK MD, Data Science team in the USA, and the broader operations in the UK. You should be entrepreneurial and have a passion for technology, innovation and financial services. You are comfortable managing multiple projects and can adjust priorities on the fly. You don’t let perfect get in the way of good enough, but you know when to stress about details.

Role

  • The role holder will be responsible for actively managing and developing retailer relationships.  Candidates must possess first-class account executive skills to maximise revenue and minimise portfolio attrition.
  • This will also require the role holder to be a creative thinker with a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and influencing skills, and excellent stakeholder management skills to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and develop relationships with retailers assigned to individual portfolio
  • Develop and capture appropriate account plans, with supporting contact strategies, target information and activity on CRM
  • Work closely with New Business and Sales Support teams to on-board retailers quickly and efficiently
  • Network extensively both internally and externally building relationships, leveraging your product knowledge and market expertise to increase business
  • Be a brand ambassador.  Build strong relationships with retailers by championing their interests and developing a reputation as the specialist finance provider of choice
  • Build an excellent understanding of retailers needs and requirements to provide a superior level of service
  • Work with New Business and Marketing team to effectively and efficiently maximise business opportunities
  • Develop strong understanding of the external environment and trends
  • Be proactive in proposition development; feeding back market insight, broker, introducer and customer requirements and competitor information to the product development teams
  • Consider cross-selling opportunities from with the Group to provide retailers with a more comprehensive level of service
  • Contribute to intelligent data-gathering and usage techniques, utilising CRM tool
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the business to ensure that the business capitalizes on new market / business leads and opportunities
  • Understand and comply with Conduct Risk requirements to meet the Bank’s Conduct Risk policies and the expectations of our regulators
