This role is suitable for anyone who has experience within the Health Care sector, who has the desire to become an Assessor.

Our client is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is fast on its way to becoming outstanding having achieved a good Ofsted grade in June 2015.

They are currently recruiting for an Assessor in Health and Care Qualifications to join their Health Care department based at Trowbridge campus on a Full Time contract. Within this role you will be responsible for developing individual learning plans to fully support each learner with their specific programme, review, administer and mark initial assessments, provide learner inductions, maintain records of individual learners progress through regular progress reviews, complete awarding organisations documents relating to qualification and achievement of each learner.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification in Assessing or be willing to work towards their A1 within 6 months of starting, hold both their English and Maths Level 2 and be willing to work towards a Health and Safety programme. You will need a flexible and non-judgemental approach, you will have the ability to build a rapport with learners and motivate them to achieve their potential. Committed to supporting learners to aspire and progress to achieve their goals through 1:1s, group sessions and activities.
