SALES & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – MIDLANDS

 

The Transport Friendly Society (TFS), which has been around for over 130 years with membership in all types of passenger transport companies, primarily bus and coach companies, throughout the UK is offering a fantastic opportunity to a self-motivated and driven insurance sales professional to join its Sales team.  Based in the Midlands region, your role as a Sales & Development Manager will be to proactively generate and follow-up on leads to grow the TFS book of business.

To be considered, you must have a strong background in sales and ability to bring in new business. A background in insurance and/or passenger transport industry would be advantageous. You will be highly professional and an excellent communicator with a proactive approach.

 
You must be accustomed to presenting and pitching at all levels and be able to represent the Society as an ambassador at various levels.


Additionally you should have a demonstrable track record of working to and achieving agreed targets in a direct sales role.

Main Duties

  • To pursue new opportunities in designated geographical areas and firms
  • To recruit new members to the Society
  • To assist your colleagues in the Sales & Development team in recruitment, training and motivating the Society’s Registered Introducers.

Package includes a starting salary of £29,000, contributory pension scheme, life and income protection insurance and company car after satisfactory completion of probationary period.
