Architectural Assistant

This new architecture practice specialises in residential architecture, currently working on projects of a range of scales, from private extensions to 15 unit new builds around London. They work closely with both private owners and contractor / developers, one of which they share an office and work in partnership with. Both companies are new, but the team combines a wealth of experience in architecture, construction management and business. This means a lot of potential for growth and development for the company.

They see projects through from start to finish so are looking for someone confident at planning and detail design stage. Their preferred candidate would be a technologist, technician or pt 2 architect with at least 3 years experience in residential architecture within the UK. Enthusiasm for design would be welcome, particularly someone with interest in interior design / materiality and colour.

The office is based at Airport House, Purley Way, Croydon. While it is accessible by bus, it would not be an ideal commute from someone heading from other parts of London, though for the right candidate they would make it worthwhile. Free parking is provided though.

They work predominantly in Autocad and sketchup, though also revit for suitable projects.
