Management Accountant

Management Accountant. Our client, a well known organization based in Leicester City Centre is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a FTC for approx. 9-12 months.
Being available within the next 4-6 weeks, your role will involve working closely with the current FC and FD. It will consist of the following duties;

Duties

* Monthly and annual reporting for the Charitable Foundation including preparation of monthly management accounts and ad-hoc reporting as required

* Reconciliation of the Direct Debit scheme to ensure all payments are collected correctly.

* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for review by the Financial Controller.

* To manage, assist and audit the retail management with regular stock takes and monthly stock reporting.

* Assist the Financial Controller with preparation of budgets and forecasts.

* Processing BACS and CHAPS payments through internet banking.

* Production and maintenance of detailed cash flow forecasts and control all accounts with monthly reconciliation reports to bank statements

* Completion of the annual corporation tax pack for the tax advisors.

* Production of ad-hoc reporting as directed by the Financial Controller and Finance Director

* Provide support and cover for the Financial Controller and other colleagues including Day to day assistance to Purchase and Sales Ledger.

* Other ad-hoc duties as necessary.

Essential

* Qualifications: -
3 'A' level passes
ACCA / CIMA Part/Fully Qualified

* Advanced Excel skills

* Good communication skills

* 3 years experience in an accountancy environment including accounts preparation

* Flexible to be able to work as an individual and as part of a team.

* Able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.

* Willingness to assist in a variety tasks departmental and company wide.

Desirable

* Knowledge of Access Dimension accounting system

* Analytical experience

* Good proven technical accounting knowledge

* Internal audit experience
