Business Data Analyst
Surrey
£500 - £520 per day
You will work for a large and fast-growing Insurer where you will have the responsibility of understand customer behavior data sources and undertake the work to connect them so that the business can conduct a range of analysis campaigns on customer behaviors.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse the existing data sources and determine a way to integrate them.
* Undertake business analysis of the main customer behaviour data source before integration with web analytics data
* Integrate our customer behaviour data with web analytics data to create a single customer behaviour view
* Perform a range of business analysis queries against the single customer view of behaviours to test a range of hypothesis, generating actionable insight
* Create stories to explain and communicate what we find after analysing the customer data so that key business stakeholders engage with the insights
* Identify and recommend valuable forward-looking customer behaviour KPI metrics that can be considered for future service development
What the business are looking for:
* That rare breed of data analyst who can successfully undertake business analysis work whilst undertaking technical data analysis such as loading datasets and writing queries to analyse the data.
* Someone who enjoys working on their own initiative to generate insightful conclusions from our customer behaviour data.
* Strong data mapping and analysis skills.
* SQL skills including data profiling and supporting tools.
* ETL tooling experience working with Talend.
* The ability to build relationships and to engage stakeholders with data driven insights - promoting the benefits of being data driven
* An innate sense of what makes a successful customer experience buying financials services online.
* A 'results' focus, with pragmatic interpersonal skills to keep people energised, positive and focussed on delivering value
