Senior PMO Analyst
Bradford
The role is for a senior project manager working within a first tier insurer based in Surrey. The initial contract is for 6 months with significant potential to extend, rates are flexible dependent upon experience. The client are looking for a candidate to join urgently (immediate start preferred although they will consider notice for the right candidate).
The programme is a major business integration workstream with a multi-million pound budget. Candidates will be expected to have a good understanding of how an insurance business is structured.
The client are looking for a business-facing PM to assist with a major workstream which will transform our client into a Data Driven Organisation. Reporting to the Programme Manager, a Senior Project Manager is required to manage the delivery of a number of projects that shapes the future business, IT and data Target Operating Model (TOM), developing business capability and enabling the business to derive benefit from the technology, people and process investment.
As this is a high profile project for our client, it is important that the successful candidate meets all of their essential criteria.
Essential criteria
5 years+ experience as a Senior Business Project Manager, with experience of IT, business change & data delivery projects
Demonstrable experience of delivery on large scale business transformation programmes, with the ability to cope with a high degree of uncertainty
Delivery of Target Operating Model across, business, IT and data organisations
An understanding of BI, Analytics, MI & Reporting and Data Warehousing concepts
Understanding of Data Governance, Data Management and Data Quality
Delivery using Waterfall, Agile techniques
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience of the Insurance industry
