What is the purpose of this role?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to work at The MOD Head quarters in Whitehall.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the continual provision of systems to support the commission's Quality performance; and for developing the application and monitoring the effectiveness of the Quality Plan and implementing the audit processes that identify continual improvement opportunities.

What will this role involve?

  • To own, develop and coordinate the systems required by the Senior the contract.
  • Management Team that supports them to monitor the quality performance of
  • To oversee the monitoring of the effectiveness of the quality systems and
  • their reporting schedules
  • To report on the performance and progress of the assurance schedule and
  • document review
  • To develop and review central documents including but not limited to IAP, ISP
  • To ensure a robust document control and index process is set up and adhered to.
  • Support the SMT with accident investigation and ensure learning's are recorded
  • and applied.
  • Encourage a culture of engagement and collaboration across all departments
  • and organisations
  • To act as nominated Waste Co-ordinator for the PFI contract
  • Other projects set by line manager
  • To provide Operational updates and Monthly report submissions within the timescales required.
  • To undertake quality audits of departments and processes as set out within
  • the assurance plan
  • To act as BUIC for the Whitehall contract
  • To lead on the attainment of ISO441100 within Greater Modus
  • Attend Compliance and Environmental meetings with the Client as and when required
  • Develop functional shared processes within Greater Modus.

What are we looking for?

  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with people at all levels
  • Able to work under own initiative and drive performance through a systematic approach
  • Excellent Relationship Management
  • Be able to lead strategic initiatives to enhance performance
  • Experienced in data collection, performance monitoring, performance improvement techniques, process improvement and development
  • Experience of Total Facilities Management contracts with a proven track record in multiple soft service disciplines
  • Highly competent levels of IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Concept)
  • Security clearance (SC) is essential for the role initially, (DV) clearance maybe required to be applied for
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Quality Auditing certification

What makes this role unique?

  • The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring statutory compliance across the contract.
  • To implement, monitor and record the assurance programme and Training Matrix for the PFI contract.
  • To be the main point of contact for the client in all statutory compliance related issues.
