TEACHING & LEARNING ASSISTANT - A GRADE - Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to appoint an A Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant to join our team of dedicated and committed professionals as soon as possible and currently until the end of our Summer term. Ideally, you will be a graduate looking to gain classroom experience so that you can pursue a career in education, but this is not essential.

Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.

The hours of work are 27.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year pro rata contracts. This equates to 5.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.25am to 2.50pm (term time only).

The salary scale for this post is Scale 1/2 Point 12-13 currently GBP16,302-GBP16,491, full-time equivalent. The pro rata salary range is GBP10,718.62-GBP10,842.57 per annum. The actual starting salary for the successful candidate will be GBP10,718.62 per annum. There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
