Team Manager - Families that Last Service
West Midlands, Birmingham
Salary: £33,069 - £36,513 (After Adoption Pay Point 49 to 54)

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with After Adoption. Alongside the National Manager, you will help develop, deliver and co-ordinate the provision of adoption services. You will take a lead in service provision in the located area and support staff to co-ordinate the work of the team. You will also be responsible for deputising as appropriate for all of the functions of the National Manager.

You will also have duties as a Family Placement Social Worker, which include but not restricted to planning and implementing recruitment plans for children referred to the Service.

The successful applicants must be CQSW, Dip SW qualified or equivalent. Knowledge of the Adoption and Children Acts are essential with a sound understanding of how adoption affects all parties. A good understanding of child development and attachment theory with an awareness of issues that arise post adoption work is also crucial in this role. Ideally a Level 5 Management qualification would be desirable.
