Storysellers wanted.

These people are writing specialists. They create great copy and content for brands and business. They write websites, ads, emails, posters, brochures and more. They also train people to write more effectively, creatively and persuasively.

In short, they use words to get results.

Now they're looking for someone who can help them sell their story.

They need an articulate sales and marketing person who can take their database of contacts, grow it and win business. Along the way you'll build relationships with their clients, manage the projects you win and play an active role in shaping the company.

Because they know it takes time to learn how to sell what they do, they are prepared to invest in the right person with on the job training. In a few months you'll develop the tools and support you need to find your rhythm and build a pipeline. And make them hugely grateful that they hired you.

As well as copy, content and creativity, you'll be selling their popular copywriting and business writing workshops.

What will you do?

- Prospect for and convert clients who have a real need for better content and copy.
- Manage relationships with our existing clients and persuade them to invest in more writing and training.
- Define targets and agree what success looks like.
- Help manage larger projects

What sort of person are they looking for?

You will be confident and outgoing, able to communicate clearly. You will ideally have a couple of years' experience in a sales or marketing role. You need to be able to write well - they are not expecting you to be a copywriter but you need an eye for wrods (and typos).

They use cloud-based software such as Highrise, Mailchimp and Eventbrite to market themselves and arrange their training, so being confident with computers is important.

Their clients are widely spread, so having your own car is an advantage.

They are a small team and so you need to be a self-starter, able to make decisions by yourself. And get along with people - there's no place to hide!

Your salary will depend on experience but they also want to reward success and will include a bonus scheme within your pay deal. They will also pay for a LinkedIn premium account.

You'll also be expected to network in the real world not just the cyber one. Some of this will be with businesses, and some with creative agencies - which is always fun.

Salary:

25k+ (DOE) + perfomance bonus
