This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to broaden their experience in a dynamic and friendly work environment whilst also learning and gaining a qualification at the same time.
At the Faculty of Engineering, Aerospace and Automotive we are looking for an Apprentice Technician within the Engineering Department, in order to help facilitate and support our outstanding teaching.
The duties will include helping to provide technical support to lecturers and learners, ensuring the immediate working environment is safe to work within, the preparation of materials, machines, equipment and identification of resource needs.
We have opportunities for both automotive and engineering based learners as Level 2 Apprentices.
As an apprentice, depending on prior qualifications, you will spend one day per week in class achieving a technical certificate and the rest of the week will be spent working as a member of the support team, learning real-world skills alongside our highly experienced technicians and lecturers. There may also be the opportunity to gain additional work-experience with some of our many industrial partners.
All applications should be made through the National Apprenticeship Service website or the Exeter College website.
