Geotechnical Manager - Leeds

My Client, a well-established and highly respected design and engineering consultancy who provide services throughout the commercial, leisure and commercial sectors are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Engineer to take a leading role in a well-established team.

To be successful in your application you will:

• Possess a Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Demonstrate the ability to log soil and rock to BS5930 standards
• Demonstrate the ability to complete Geo-Environmental Investigation
• Possess the ability to complete Generic Risk assessments and Groundwater Risk Assessments
• Ability to write factual and interpretative reports
• Be able to demonstrate suitable knowledge of design methods for shallow foundations, retaining walls and slope stability.

In this Geotechnical Engineering Manager role, you will be completing the following:

• Effectively leading a team to deliver projects on time to a high standard
• Provide technical solutions to problems in conjunction with the Geo-Environmental Team
• Responsible for Health & Safety documentation and risk assessments
• Coaching and mentoring Junior staff
• Maintain and develop existing a new client relationships
