Building Surveyor
Stepnell is looking for an MRICS Building Surveyor to join their Rugby based Property Team. Stepnell is a long established construction company that has built and developed its own commercial and residential property portfolio as well as acting as managing agent for external clients. The properties range from large industrial premises and multi-occupancy offices through to blocks of flats and individual houses. The majority of the properties are located in the Midlands.
The Building Surveyor will be responsible for:
- The repair, maintenance and refurbishment programmes for the existing portfolio, this will include the design, specification, procurement and delivery of the projects and managing the costs.
- Delivery of an established pipeline of development opportunities, whether this is the refurbishment of an existing building or a new-build opportunity and appraising new sites.
- Dilapidations schedules and negotiation, Landlord inspections and assessing building defects.
Remuneration will be dependent on the skills and experience of the applicant but will vary between GBP30,000 to GBP50,000, and will include a company car or car allowance and pension contribution.
