Executive School Business Manager
- £43,640 - £46,493 per annum
- Working 36 hours per week, Monday – Friday, throughout the year
- Based at St Dominic’s School but with visits to other Surrey and Sussex Hub (SASHUB) Schools, or elsewhere as necessary
The schools and academies in Orchard Hill College Academy Trust work together to enable pupils to achieve their maximum potential in their local communities. The Trust is arranged in regional hubs and SASHUB schools including St Dominic’s, Grafham Grange School and Bantridge School are special education schools that aim to provide a therapeutic environment to support young people’s academic journey and psychological wellbeing.
We are seeking to appoint an Executive School Business Manager who can deliver professional leadership and management to enhance our support teams effectiveness and performance to achieve excellent standards and long-term sustainability of the three SASHUB schools.
You will effectively lead financial management including managing and monitoring budgets, financial performance and activities. You will also provide professional leadership and management of the School Business Managers. You will ensure the smooth, efficient, effective and economical running of each of the support departments.
You will need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- Experience of working in senior administrative role with significant aspects of financial and operational administration.
- Experience of supervising others.
- Experience of administrative systems.
- Experience of leading multiple teams across several functions.
- Experience of managing budgets competently.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to present information in a logical, clear and concise format and to communicate this effectively to colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of colleagues.
