The Governing Body of King’s Hedges Educational Federation is seeking to appoint a clerk.
This is a challenging professional role, to advise the Governing Body on the law and good practice, organise and minute meetings, and to work with the Chair to ensure the GB works efficiently and effectively.
General professional skills and experience are required; specific skills can be acquired through training and on-the-job. The present chair of governors has 9 years’ experience in the role and can provide extensive support. His aim is that, if he retires in 2019, the Clerk will be able to provide strong professional support to his successor.
Attendance at 10 meetings p.a. plus supporting work as in job description
Salary for negotiation in region of £2500 p.a.
