HR Advisor & Office Administration – Coventry - £20,000 - £25,000 + Benefits

Our client, an internationally recognised retailer and logistics business is seeking a HR Administrator and Office Manager to work in their busy distribution centre in Coventry.

This is a bespoke position spread across HR (70%) & Office Assistance to the management team (30%).

HR- Duties will include:

  • Supporting Recruitment, induction and on-boarding for new employees. Producing offer letters and contracts of employment for staff. Supporting group HR with HR related issues
  • Regular staff assessments and staff engagement checks
  • Employee relations (i.e. organisation of staff socials and treats
  • Liaising with outsourced payroll function
  • Company employee and community communication
  • Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health

Office Management / Administration- Duties will include:

  • Help with office upkeep/maintenance
  • Acting as first point of contact for site visitors
  • Meeting minutes
  • Be proactive and develop an understanding of the business model
  • Carry out specific daily/ongoing tasks as requested by the management team.
  • Some general administration duties
  • Supporting demanding areas of the business

Applicants should have:

  • CIPD qualification (Could be working towards this or even willing to undertake the qualification)
  • Previous HR experience
  • good understanding of HR principles
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • A desire to engage with all staff at all levels
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A high level of IT literacy – particularly in Word and Excel
  • The ability and willingness to adjust to new scenarios
