IT Support Technician

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Kettering on a full time, permanent basis. The successful  IT Support Technician will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician  to provide front line helpdesk support to users with varying degrees of IT literacy. The role involves the installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, workstations, printers and software, so experience of the Windows Server and workstation (2000/XP) family of MS operating systems is necessary.

Our IT Support Technician will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of backup systems, ensuring daily backup is run correctly, restoring data, testing backup drives/tapes and maintaining logs.

You will also be involved in the maintenance of the hardware and software auditing database, which requires regular onsite checks of server and workstations as well as maintaining antivirus and updates systems.
