Finance Manager - circa 30 hours a week
Annual salary - circa £25,600 (pro rata £32,000)
Following the departure of our Finance Assistant, we have taken the opportunity to restructure our team. We have created a new role of Finance Manager, and are seeking someone with excellent accounting skills and a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience to lead the Trust's finance function. You will join a small, tight knit office, with a family feel, where you will have the opportunity to make this new role your own, and help shape the finance function of Liversage Trust; Derby's oldest charity.
The position of Finance Manager provides an interesting and challenging mix of front line work with strategic responsibilities. For example, on one day you might talk to a resident about whether they owe money to the Trust and then consider whether the Trust's major repairs fund is on course to finance work thirty years into the future. You need to be equally comfortable in both situations.
The Trust's office is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm; closing at 3.00 pm Friday. Within these core hours, we can be flexible about the pattern to be worked.
