Sales Executive / Sales Representative - Home Based - Attractive Salary & Benefits

This position will be required to work from home with travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects.

The role of Programme Sales Representative:

  • Sell directly to company owners and decision-makers in target cleaning-industry market segments, including distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers and building service companies by conducting online and on-site sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Manage all sales activities, from lead generation through close of sale to support regional revenue goals
  • Work closely with programme management and marketing teams to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Inform management of progress by submitting activity and results reports, such as regular call reports, work plans, and monthly and annual analyses using a CRM tool
  • Facilitating an environment that reflects ISSA positively – every interaction a wonderful experience.
  • Be able to answer inquiries and requests about ISSA programmes and their benefits
  • Travel to industry events as necessary (5%). Coordinate and conduct various membership related projects as needed
  • Collaborate with other staff as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the EMEA Programme Development Director as needed

The ideal Programme Sales Representative:

  • Learning/problem solving. Enjoys learning new concepts, able to think independently and is an effective problem-solver.
  • Tech savvy. Does not require programming knowledge, but the candidate should be comfortable with web applications and have general computer and internet competency. Should be familiar with basic Microsoft Suite programmes and presentations programmes such as PowerPoint or equivalent.
  • Use of CRM tools. Experience using Salesforce.com, Highrise, or similar CRM tools—and the discipline to use them effectively.
  • Sales experience. A minimum of one year of sales experience and a proven record of prospecting and closing sales. The candidate will be familiar with phone, web-based, and other sales techniques, as well as pipeline management and a proven track record of sales success.

Personal skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, this position requires a candidate who is professional, self-motivated, organised, disciplined, and driven. Able to build strong.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years applicable customer service, sales experience or revenue generating tasks, preferably in business-to-business, commercial or industrial settings. Membership-related experience a plus.
  • Language skills. Main language is English. Any additional language knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Education. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
