Ossett, West Yorkshire
The Company:
Our client is a global food ingredients manufacturer. With a strong focus on innovation, quality and continuous improvement, they supply a diverse range of products to major manufacturers and foodservice.
They are now seeking Marketing / Category Analyst to join the team in Ossett. The Ossett site manufactures food coatings systems, dry blends, bread crumbs and rusk products and continues to deliver significant growth year on year.

Your Role:
As a Marketing / Category Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Marketing team and will champion the end user market such as red meats, pies and pastries.
Your role will also involve:
- Creating category and consumer insight reports and utilising these to direct R&D, Market Applications and Culinary divisions in new product development
- Completing promotional activities for your product categories
- Reporting to the EMEA Marketing Director
- Undertaking some travel within the UK and Europe
About You:
To be considered as a Marketing / Category Analyst, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience in a marketing or category management role, preferably within food manufacturing or similar
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a marketing or related discipline
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, team working and organisational skills
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Publisher and Word
- A passion for food trends and consumer traits
A degree in, or fluency in, another language, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application.
Our client is eager to hear from candidates who have held the role of Marketing Analyst, Category Analyst, Consumer Insight Analyst, Shopper Analyst, Retail Analyst, Consumer Trend Analyst, or Market Analyst.
You would also be of interest if you have been a Category Manager, Product Manager, Food Product Manager, FMCG Product Manager, Marketing Manager, or Marketing Campaign Manager.
