Children's Play Worker

Leeds based primary academy is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Children’s play worker to work in their breakfast and after school enrichment club. Working with young children, aged 4-5 you will work in a friendly team to deliver excellent care for the children in a safe, stimulating, nurturing environment.

As a child play worker you will be responsible for supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and high-quality conversation, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the club.

The Breakfast Club working hours are 7:00 – 8:40am. The after-school club working hours run from 3.15-6.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Here you will collect the children from their classrooms to the designated after school club area.

All candidates for this role must be enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking and most importantly willing to have fun and genuinely enjoy working with children. The position is to start work as soon as possible. The full year salary for this position is £9,000 per annum.

An Enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this position. expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
