Our client is a progressive financial services provider specialising in the global provision of fiduciary, accounting and administration services. They are now looking for an Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Financial Accountant to join their team in the Cayman Islands.

As an Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Financial Accountant, you will join our client’s Global Finance Department and support the completion of a range of accounting and finance-related activities. 

Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, you will run global reallocations on a monthly basis, be involved on the global annual budgeting process, year end audits and audited financial statements. 

You will work with multiple legal entities, including standalone and consolidated structures and get involved in various projects, such as global indirect tax and transfer pricing initiatives, global restructuring and reporting.

- An internationally recognised accounting or financial industry designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA or ACCA 
- At least two years’ post qualified experience 
- At a minimum, three years’ Big 4 audit experience or relevant industry experience with a leading professional services company 
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (mainly IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements) 

The ideal Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Financial Accountant will have experience in different jurisdictions and a strong understanding of structured finance companies or hedge funds, however, this is by no means essential.
