Head of Operations

This company is a rapidly growing specialist Fire Risk Assessment team, based in Wood Green, North London. They are refining a bespoke, web-enabled, centralised management software package that is set to revolutionise the Fire Risk Assessment industry.

Your role is the day-to-day running of the business. It includes managing our expanding national team of fire risk assessors, tracking and monitoring large amounts of data and liaising with clients to troubleshoot potential problems that could impact on their compliance needs and timelines.

You will be the first point of contact for our team of surveyors and responsible for:

- Placing surveyors where they need to be throughout the UK.
- Monitoring incoming phone calls from our UK wide pool of 35 surveyors.
- Account management: Acting as liaison between client and surveyor.
- Identifying, prioritising and solving any issues that arise. For example, a surveyor calls that can't access the building. You need to get them access.
- Updating and reviewing the online data of our team of surveyors.
- Liaising with our software support manager.
- Troubleshooting and dealing with all logistics to ensure delivery of targets and that deadlines are met.

You will be:
- A clear thinker and strong communicator with experience liaising directly with clients.
- Excellent in written and spoken English (absolutely essential).
- Proficient in using Excel.
- A capable multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills
- Able to use your initiative and prioritise issues.
