Software Developer - C# / ASP / Salesforce
Salary: Up to 33K
Location: Kingston Upon Hull

This cloud based payment company, partnered with Salesforce and Sage Pay, are looking to recruit a Software Developer.
They offer a bespoke service that allows their customers to make the most of their cloud based platform, through personalisation and integration of their payment applications.
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to write high quality and clean code for internal and external software projects. You will be able to experiment with the development and the opportunity to personally develop your programming skill set whilst working with international clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Write fully integrated systems that function reliably and meet customer expectations.
- Working closely with a small team, or independantly, to establish and deliver customer requirements.
- Ensuring quality implementation and execution of unit tests for all delivered code.
- Use of standard processes for version control and configuration management.
- Documentation of code through comments to support software maintenance.
- Opportunity to develop to the established standards and practices.
- Taking part in code peer reviews.
- Using existing tools to create innovative new solutions
Skills and experience:
- Bachelors level in Computer Science or similar degree.
- 2 years of commercial development experience is ideal.
- Extensive knowledge of C#, or similar programming languages, and programming best practices.
- Experience building ASP web applications.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Knowledge of developing or consuming SOAP & REST Web Services.
- Ability to design, build and interact with databases such as MS SQL.
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies and Test Driven Development.
- Able to work under pressure while providing exceptional customer service.
