As a Protective Services Officer, you’ll be responsible for providing a high-quality security service to Securitas’ customers in Coventry.
Offering excellent levels of customer service, you’ll provide a safe and secure work environment for site staff. Specifically, your duties will involve:
- Quickly responding to any emergency situations
- Preventing and deterring any unauthorised access to the site
- Performing internal and external patrols, which may include locking and unlocking premises
- Swiftly reporting any lost, stolen or damaged equipment and/or property
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintaining logbooks and records
Interested? To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A valid SIA licence
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
Due to the requirements of this role, you will also need a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part-time education during that period.
Self-motivated and focused, as a Protective Services Officer, you’ll be dedicated to delivering an outstanding service to customers. Leading by example, you will also strive to find ways to redefine best practice.
Previous experience as a security officer, gained in the security industry would be beneficial. A full driving licence and access to your own transport would also be an advantage, as would a First Aid qualification.
This is a full time role, working 48 hours per week. Additional hours are available for those willing to opt out of the working time directive.
