Housingrecruit.com is advertising for two Environmental Services Supervisors on behalf of our client. They are one of the largest registered providers of social housing, made up of seven social housing, development and property management organisations operating in a federated structure based solely in the North West of England.
In April 2017, they brought the Group together under the Onward brand to signal their intention to increase their impact and to make a greater contribution to the communities and customers they serve. They are delivering a major transformation change programme, in the way in which they deliver services and how they are structured as a business.
As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping their customer services and supporting their wider leasehold strategy, they are looking for two Environmental Services Team Leader to join our Operations team.
Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager you will manage the day-to-day provision of a grounds maintenance, cleaning, caretaking and rapid response service covering a specified region ensuring that the environment is maintained to required standards and providing a high-quality customer service experience that delivers high levels of customer satisfaction and other performance targets.
You will provide management and leadership to a team, managing resources to ensure that objectives are achieved, whilst developing a detailed understanding of the issues and opportunities within their neighbourhoods. You will be developing local partnerships with other front-facing service providers, operating in their neighbourhoods and contribute to maintaining and improving the appearance of neighbourhoods, ensuring a highly visible presence, increasing customer confidence and offering reassurance.
There are two positions available – 1 in Merseyside, Runcorn or Brunswick and 1 in Lancashire – Accrington or Clitheroe.
To be successful, you will have experience of leading and developing people to deliver high levels of customer service, whilst maintaining excellent partnership working with external agencies. You will have significant experience meeting deadlines and hitting targets in a customer facing role, whilst also having a knowledge and awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
