Salary: £18,263 - £20,411 per annum

Hospitality Services are seeking to appoint a full-time Café Bar Supervisor for our high-volume café bar operations: you will be located primarily at the Universities Langford Vet School, situated on the outskirts of Bristol. The post is offered on a fixed term contract basis until 30 April 2019.

You will be an experienced Barista, with excellent front-facing communication skills as you will be our ambassador at this site. Previous supervisory experience is essential for this role and you will need to be adaptable and flexible as this is a busy and varied position assisting in the day-to-day management of University Café outlets, for the delivery of quality service, cost effective, efficient supervision of Café and Bar Staff and deployment of physical and human resources within the outlets. 

The University’s Hospitality Services department, which provides a diversity of services to students, staff and visitors, including catering, vending, bars, cafés, meeting rooms and banqueting, is located throughout the University.

This vacancy will operate a five days out of seven working pattern, in line with terms and conditions. Please bear in mind that you will need to be able to commence work at Langford by 7.30am and that you may be asked to work in any of our Cafés in line with business requirements
