Excellent sales opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work for a really exciting + friendly entrepreneurial Tech company in a lovely part of SW London (5 mins walk to nearest tube station on District Line).

The company is a fast growing, innovative technology player whose business is e-recruitment software.  Their technology currently powers the recruiting programmes of over 100 leading UK organisations across all business sectors.  The technology helps their impressive customer base to hire the best talent possible.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for progressing your pipeline of new business from appointments generated by the new business development team. Your blend of public and private sector experience will ensure you are perceived as an expert by prospects of all industries and backgrounds. You will get the chance of working with some of the most cutting edge companies, in terms of recruitment practices, both globally and in the UK.

Clients include FTSE Top 100, large public sector organisations + the retail sector; all dealing with high volume or graduate hiring. Points of contact will be at C+ level + typically Recruitment and Human Resource decision makers

The Role

•           You will be measured against achievement of your set targets. This will include new business sales targets, revenue retention + growth and satisfaction targets for the customer base

•           Credibly demonstrate and present a full range of e-recruitment solutions.

•           Differentiate solution from competitors

•           Work collaboratively with operational, technical and marketing colleagues to recommend a compelling offering that delivers prospect requirements

•           Work collaboratively with the new business development team to maximise appointments held

•           Administration of the CRM database to support pipeline

•           Prepare high quality proposals and client presentations

•           Generate pricing proposals

•           Sell confidently to large prospects (over 120,000 employees)

•           Produce weekly and monthly pipeline reports

•           Negotiate appropriate contract terms and conditions and once signed, complete all required handover documentation.

The Person

•                     You will be an experienced, versatile sales executive with several years of proven success

•                     Ideally you will have experience of selling to HR and IT buyers, or selling software, though this isn’t absolutely essential if you can show you have sold successfully in a complex sales process with multiple decision points and that you comfortable with an extended sales cycle.

•                     Ideally you will have worked with both public and private sector clients.

•                     Have a proven track record of consistently achieving and outperforming sales and customer retention targets

•                     Have an understanding of how technology change is impacting HR and specifically recruitment practice

•                     Have a proven ability to measure, track and exceed your sales targets and pipeline.

•                     Excellent communication, presentation and consultative sales skills

In return for your sales prowess you will receive a base salary of circa £77K + £40k commission (uncapped) + benefits e.g. holidays, pension, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership, lots of social events, casual dress code……lots of opportunity for progression into other areas of the company.  Really nice, friendly company.
