Sales & Marketing Officer – Plas Menai

Salary:                   Grade B

Hours:                   37 hours per week

Location:              Caernarfon

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave

Do you have what it takes to develop new and existing business opportunities at one of the largest National Outdoor Centres in Wales? 

The Sport Wales National Outdoor Centre, Plas Menai is situated on the banks of the Menai Straits, a stone’s throw from Snowdonia National Park and the stunning coastline of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsular. The Centre has been delivering a range of water and land based activities for over 30 years and trains instructors who go on to work across the world.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Officer to grow our Community Development Programmes. You will be charged with developing our portfolio of community activity programmes that include dealing with schools, local youth groups and or successful Menai Dragons Adventure Club.

Working as part of a small team you will be challenged to increase our commercial sales income and contribute to the marketing programme across all our digital communication platforms.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for the outdoors and understanding of sports development. You will also need to be well organised with strong administrative and financial skills, be an excellent communicator with strong customer service focus.
