As an IT Procurement Professional you'll have the opportunity to join a fast paced team responsible for enabling Jaguar land Rover to be at the forefront of technology as it becomes ever more critical to the future of automotive.

We have two exciting roles available within this function - IT Category Buyer and Software and Applications Category Buyer.

As an IT Category Buyer you'll be covering a broad range of IT Categories including Infrastructure, Data Centre, SaaS, Applications (testing, development and maintenance). The Software and Applications Category Buyer will special in complex Software and Applications procurement.

With your IT expertise you'll manage sourcing activities relating to your specific category including the creation, planning, and delivery of a Global Strategic Category Plan. You'll work with a wide variety of suppliers including niche and large global players, each of which will require a different procurement approach. Liaising with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop sourcing strategies, objectives, and plans, making all the necessary arrangements to ensure that cost, risk, and service requirements are met.

You'll be accountable for the successful commercial and contractual completion of sourcing projects and for developing and establishing a pipeline of sourcing activities in line with contract expiry dates, potential cost saving opportunities and new investment projects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You'll need extensive experience within an IT procurement environment, as well as sourcing for these requirements. You'll be an individual who is results drive and able to demonstrate tenacity, drive, and perseverance, with the ability to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environments. Experience of both legal, contract and cost down negotiation activities will be expected. Stakeholder management skills will be key, ideally on a global scale at all levels of the business.
