CMSS is a skills development centre, whose purpose is to provide independence. CMSS adopts a holistic approach which aims to meet the welfare, educational, employment, social and leisure needs for adults with cerebral palsy and learning, physical and sensory disabilities.
Community Field Worker
- Salary: £19,500-£21,000 pa dependent on experience
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:00
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and positive thinking Community Field Worker. You will be required to help our clients integrate into the community, and take part in social events, swimming, gym, and support clients in college, and in-house activities. We currently cover the Ealing area and you will be expected to support clients in this area. We are looking for candidates with, or willing to work towards, NVQ / QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), a minimum of one year’s experience of working with children or adults with disabilities within a social care setting. A flexible approach to work, passion and a strong affinity with disabled people is required for this position. Applicants interested in this position must also have excellent organisational and people management skills. It is essential that interested candidates have a full, clean, manual driving licence and a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
