Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative

This company is a Sheffield-based international stockist and distributor of corrosion and creep resistant metals to the Oil & gas, Subsea, Petro-chemical, Power generation and Precision Engineering Industries around the world.

Due to recent expansion, they are looking to recruit a driver to make deliveries and collections of their products in the local area in their company vehicles (van/cars - HGV license not required).

Duties will include:
- Delivering and collecting steel products in South and West Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, and other UK locations as required, in a safe manner following all laws and rules of driving
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries
- Keeping all company vehicles clean and well-maintained
- Informing management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time
- When not driving, general warehouse duties as required (previous experience in a steel industry-related warehouse is therefore desirable)

Successful candidates should:
- Have a full, clean driving license (a HGV License is not required)
- Have a minimum three years driving experience
- Be courteous with good communication skills
- Have a good knowledge of South Yorkshire
- Be physically fit and able to work under pressure

Due to insurance requirements, they can only consider applicants aged 25 or older.

£7 / hr, plus membership of company-wide bonus scheme
