Focus: Executing strategic objectives within our highly technology-based UK Retail offering, while also playing a key role within our global compliance team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be joining our Compliance team, executing on our strategic objectives within our highly technology-based UK Retail offering, while also playing a key role within our global compliance team. Reporting to the UK Retail Head of Legal and Compliance, this role will have a primary focus on UK Retail, supporting the client facing and marketing efforts in a compliance advisory and review role.  The position will also include application and support of our global compliance policies and processes, often requiring interaction with diverse operational teams, and working alongside members of Legal, Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams as part of the wider assurance function.

Experience, Skills & Qualities
We are looking for a team player with the ability to motivate and train and demonstrating a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.  The candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, act responsibly and excel in a stimulating, varied, and complex environment.  The candidate must display good judgment and the ability to think independently.

Candidates should at a minimum, possess the following attributes:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
  • Self-starter with high standards, resilience, stamina, determination and perseverance
  • Effective communicator at all levels within the organisation
  • Good at problem solving with a dynamic and proactive attitude
  • Pragmatic and able to work with a wide range of people
  • Advanced computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of working with legislation either through study or work experience
  • Experience of working within a large, global institution is essential
  • Experience within the Financial Services sector is essential
