Marketing/Sales Assistant

• Part time potentially full time position • Hours 9-5

Salary GBP9,000 (part time)

  Laura Elizabeth Glass is unique glass company specializing in hand blown glass lighting and interior accessories. Founded by Laura Smith in 2013 the company is expanding to international trade shows and requires employees to be flexible and creative with the role as job requirements vary from week to week.

• We are looking for a creative, reliable employee who is eager to learn the ropes of an exciting and expanding glass design studio in Hackney, London

• Work includes marketing role with the ability to use Photoshop, Indesign, Sales and website admin. Employee will help with international trade show set up, installations and packing orders

• Person must be flexible with the evolving atmosphere of a small creative company

  Resonsibilities include:

  • Marketing

  • Sales

  • Online website management

  • Exhibition planning

  • Responding to telephone calls and emails and greeting clients

• Filing and photocopying maintaining records

• Hours between 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday

  - Friday. On some occasions weekends with both parties agreement

  Successful applicants must have:

  • advanced computer and typing skills

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

    Some marketing or business experience required or equivalent qualification is desirable. No previous experience in glass needed, but an interest in the arts and creative fields desired.
