Accounts Assistant / Part Qualified Accountant

This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant or part qualified accountant to join a small but growing independent firm of accountants in Harrogate.

They are seeking ideally a part-qualified accountant or accounts assistant looking mainly for a role including accounts preparation, quarterly vat preparation and payroll. The firm will also consider applications from strong qualified by experience (QBE) candidates as well.

The candidate will be working with a diverse client base, limited companies, LLP's and sole traders, across a wide range of sectors.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Preparing quarterly Vat returns via various accounting software platforms
- Preparing year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Preparing payroll - not critical and training will be offered.
- Assisting with ad hoc project work for clients.

This role is extremely flexible. They can offer part time / full time hours. Flexible hours around school terms etc. for the right candidate.
