Mosscare St Vincent’s (MSV) is a new, dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of the two strong and resilient housing providers who have a shared history in providing excellent quality services to our customers.  Working across the North West and Greater Manchester we aim to remain true to our mission, values and vision and to making a difference in the communities we serve and wider neighbourhoods.

MSV’s Property Services division provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across the group and we are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team.  The purpose of this role is to lead, motivate and manage a variety of projects including voids and capital investment programmes across the whole of the MSV stock, ensuring that there is effective support, guidance and training for a number of multi trade operatives.

As a key member of Property Services, and reporting to the Operational Manager for Voids and Capital Investments, you will be responsible for the delivery of an excellent project management function.  This will involve the delivery of services that include planning, technical specifications, scheduling materials and labour resources for voids and other projects.  In addition you will be responsible for ensuring the recording and processing of voids and planned repairs, component installation, data management and performance, as well as dealing with operative, customer and general enquiries.

The successful candidate will have a track record of managing people, projects and budgets, driving teams forward to achieve targets in the delivery of excellent service.  With excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills, you will be able to relate to other members of staff, customers and external partners for all aspects of the Group’s work.  You will also be able to analyse financial and performance data and information in order to provide meaningful reports as required, along with delivering projects to a successful conclusion within agreed timescales.  Experience of working within a performance management framework is desirable and you will be able to use ICT systems and their application in delivering the management function, service delivery and vital Property Services projects.  The successful applicant will also need a full current driving license.

You will enjoy an excellent benefits package including a pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Applications from female candidates are particularly encouraged, as women are currently underrepresented in these positions in the Group.
