The Role: 

As a Technical / Field Engineer, you’ll test and repair equipment at customer sites across the UK, and occasionally internationally. 

In this varied role, you will: 

- Test, repair and configure handheld terminals, scanners, RF infrastructure devices and printers 
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner 
- Support the Helpdesk with troubleshooting activities 
- Assist the Project Management Team at customer sites with configuration, consultancy and support tasks 
- Communicate with third party providers when units fail to work 
- Test and configure new devices before they’re dispatched to customers 

About You: 

To join us as a Technical / Field Engineer, you’ll need: 

- Experience of repairing and testing electronic equipment, either professionally or as a hobbyist 
- The ability to travel nationwide and overseas with overnight stays 
- A full, valid driving licence 
- A team player mentality with a helpful, positive and methodical approach 
- A proactive approach to problem-solving 
- A curious mindset
