Our client in the Insurance sector is seeking a talented Sales Executive to join them in their state of the art offices in the Redhill area.
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of such a top recognised employer with so much to offer the right individual.
Basic Salary (DOE): GBP25,000 - GBP30,000
+ Commission
On Target Earning of GBP40,000 PA
This is a full time role working: 08:45 - 17:30
Annual Leave: 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays)
If you're right for this role:
- Able to Recognise the importance and benefits of effective team working
- To maintain a good level of personal presentation
- Previous experience with Commercial Insurance products (ideally Motor/Construction)
- Previous Phone based / desk sales
- Sales desire and consistent work ethic
- Good oral communication skills and organisation skills
- Ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority
- Effectively communicate with other internal departments and external insurers
- Good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proven desire to update product knowledge and skill set when required
- Awareness of the Data Protection Act
Role Summary:
- Dealing with quotations generated by the marketing department & Online Lead Generation sites
- Accurately taking details, auditing client's acceptability, pricing and closing the sale
- To support individual and team goals, providing support to others where occasionally required
Further Responsibilities to include:
- Providing quotations and selling policies to clients
- Assist the team in completing objectives including monthly sales targets
- Day to day account handling and administration
- Ability to deal with Target driven New Business Sales
- Able to demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members
- Deliver customer service in line with 'best practice' and ensure compliance to relevant policies
- Provide point of contact for customer enquiries, dealing with these through to a successful outcome
- To comply with the Data Protection Act at all times
- To actively follow company policies (including Health & Safety & Equal Opportunities).
- To attend staff meetings and training as required
- To maintain accurate files and records
- Provide support as required to relevant team leader & managers
