Our client is a Community based housing organisation committed to providing high quality services to the people and neighbourhoods that they work in. They are a “not-for-profit” landlord, based in Didsbury, managing and improving approximately 6,000 homes in South Manchester.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the ICT team for 2 X ICT Support Engineers (6 Month Fixed term contracts) to assist the company moving to a brand-new headquarters which will require service desk cover and help with this challenging and rewarding move.
The successful candidates will undertake a hands-on role supporting ICT systems and users including but not limited to: Desktop PC’s, Laptops, Thin Client Terminals, Windows 7, Windows 10, Printers, Photocopiers, Microsoft Office 2010 applications and mobile devices.
You will maintain an accurate up-to-date call log of requests and issues raised by users and ICT staff, responding and resolving issues in line with a defined Service Level Agreement. With a customer focused approach with an ability to handle difficult and demanding customers, candidates will be good verbal and written communicators and be able to prioritise conflicting demands.
Able to maintain formally documented systems others can easily and logically access and use, you will have good knowledge of computer networking technologies and experience of supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop operating systems Windows 7 and Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010 applications and knowledge of Apple iOS and Android mobile devices.
