Our client is a forward-thinking provider of finance, audit and taxation solutions. For nearly 25 years, they have provided a high-quality, personal service to clients based around the globe. 

Now, they are looking for an Accountant to join their hard-working team Saffron Walden.

Our client is recognised as an official training office for both professional accountancy bodies and will support you to complete your accountancy exams and become a Chartered or Certified accountant if desired. 

As our client is a small practice, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to broaden your expertise and get involved with a variety of accountancy work. 

What’s more, our client’s offices are converted stables based in a lovely countryside setting, making for a fantastic work environment. 

The Role: 

As an Accountant, you’ll provide a high-quality accountancy service to a portfolio of clients. 

In this hands-on role, you will: 

- Provide an outstanding level of service to clients 
- Carry out accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax returns, plus audit work 
- Assist with MBOs and share valuations 
- Occasionally travel to visit clients 

About You: 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- To have at least two years’ experience in a practice environment 
- Excellent team-working skills 
- A flexible approach 
- Strong communication skills
