My Ashford based client, is looking for an Accounts Senior to add to their already busy accounts team. You will be working for a long established firm and well respected mid-Kent firm of accountants.
Our client is offering a unique flexible approach to working hours, they are allowing you to choose what hours suit you, the options available are as follows:
- 08:00-16:00
- 08:30-16:30
- 09:00-17:00
Other benefits include free parking and 20 days annual holiday plus bank holidays increasing with length of service.
As an Accounts Senior you will be working within a close knit team to ensure all deadlines are met. The accounts department is very busy and organised therefore our client is looking for a candidate with not just knowledge and experience, but also somebody who can manage their time and work to pressured deadlines. Due to the department being incredibly busy, we are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and is familiar with systems such as SAGE and Bright Pay.
Key Responsibilities:
-Bookkeeping
-VAT returns
-Reconciling balances
-Corporate tax compliance
-Year end returns
As the ideal candidate you will have:
-Previous experience within accounts
-Knowledge of Sage and Bright Pay
-Confidence with Microsoft Excel
-Experience with working to pressured deadlines and working in an organised office
