Display By Design are a well-established POS, Display Manufacturing Company, and are looking to immediately recruit an accounts assistant/ book-keeper.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger:

Allocating 250 – 300 purchase orders per month

Allocating delivery notes to po’s

Processing 300 – 350 purchase invoices per month

Supplier statement reconciliation

Supplier payment runs

Sales Ledger:

Co-ordination of 200 – 250 sales invoices to update with sales team

Issue customer statements

Credit control

Customer receipts reconciliation

Bank:

Banking of cash & cheques

Reconciliation of various bank accounts & petty cash account

Reconciliation of company credit cards

Reconciliation of Streamline accounts

Other Tasks (experience not essential as can be trained) Including Management of:

Pre-payments

Re-occurring payments

HP agreements

VAT returns

CIS returns

Project costing's

Commission statements

General administration & office duties

The successful candidate must have the following attributes:

Have Sage 50 accounts knowledge

Have excellent communication skill

Have an eye for detail

Be able to prioritise your workload & meet deadlines

Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Previous experience performing similar role & relevant qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
