Your new company

Utilising internal multi - skilled facilities and maintenance teams they are able to offer their clients a one stop shop for all FM and Maintenance services.
Your new role
With the introduction of a new 5 year large scale education contract they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic professional Quantity Surveyor to join the Belfast team. This role of QS will provide commercial support to the operations teams as they deliver planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and project works throughout Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the UK. There will also be a requirement to assist in preparing tender estimates for project works.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria: A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management or a HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying (including a commercial placement) or a minimum of three years' experience of managing cost elements of construction projects, Reactive maintenance and minor works; Demonstrate previous experience in a QS role including account billing and calculating work in progress; Experience of managing profit and loss accounting and working to budgetary targets; Experience of working with a computer based cost management system; Willingness to travel across contracts/sites as required. Desirable Criteria: Experience of both minor works construction projects and maintenance contracts.
