HR Administrator
DIVISION: Support Services
REPORTS TO: HR Director
LOCATION: Coventry (CV5 9AB)

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To be responsible for the delivery of transactional HR administration. To support for the HR team in all areas of HR including, employee relations, recruitment and selection and TUPE contract in and out. Contribute to Group wide projects/initiatives as required.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contribute to the formulation, updating, editing of role profiles, ensuring that the Group wide implications of bands/benefits have been considered
  • Contribute to the banding and ascertaining of salary ranges for new and existing roles
  • Support and advise in all aspects of recruitment and selection, including advising of recruitment methods, use of recruit editing and placing of advert (internally/externally), management of our internal recruitment system ensuring all information is up to date and accurate, designing of assessment process and taking part in assessment and decision making process where required.
  • Ensuring that all information that is stored complies with GDPR
  • Advise on Performance Management methods and procedures
  • Advise on process, policy or procedure to be followed when requested by line managers
  • Meet HR KPIs

Projects

  • Assist in the delivery of line manager development sessions and modular programmes, when required
  • Carry out/contribute to projects as and when required by the HR and L&D Team
  • Take part in multi disciplined project groups as and when required
  • Support the HR Department in its transition towards a paperless filing system

Communication

  • Maintain a high level of communication across the areas of responsibility
  • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges and achievements to HR Business Partner
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all key contacts within the business
  • Contribute to Group HR plan based on challenges identified within the business, best practice and innovation
  • Maximise knowledge sharing within the HR team and across the business

  • Administration is up to date and 100% accurate
  • All HR queries are responded to in a timely manner and professional manner and escalated as appropriate
  • HR system is managed pro-actively and issues are escalated as appropriate

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (These should describe only the essential skills and experience levels required to achieve the principal accountabilities of the job.)

  • Experienced administration professional
  • Basic employment law knowledge
  • Experienced HR administration professional
  • Level 3 CIPD (or equivalent)
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure written communications/correspondence are of the highest quality
  • Experience of working in a fast paced organisation
  • Knowledge of GDPR
