About the role:

Due to strong growth, we're looking for a finance and office administrator who excels at delivering core company financial processes, sees to all of the office requirements and provides operational support for the team as required, all in a timely and effective manner. This is a part time role over 2.5 days per week.


Key responsibilities:

  • Financial – ownership and management of all financial processes, including invoicing, book keeping (so a working knowledge of Quickbooks would be good), credit control, cash flow management, salary and expense management, VAT admin and budget management 
  • Office – ownership of office management duties, including stationary supplies, food and beverage supplies, office and IT management and supplier management
  • Operational support – assisting the client-facing team when and where required, including organising travel, event management, proposal and presentation document support, outsourced printing and outside catering

Personal attributes and experience:

  • As a small business we’re looking for a bright, self-starter who likes job variety and has a mixture of strong organisational skills, financial experience and is an excellent communicator
  • On the finance side a good head for numbers is essential – and experience of using financial management systems (ideally, Quickbooks)
  • We’re looking for some with a proactive attitude to finding better, cheaper and more effective ways of running things. We need someone who is not only going to take on the current processes but be able to review their effectiveness and advise/recommend/implement improvements
  • Experience of working in an agency environment or a small business would be a bonus
