Following the introduction of the apprenticeship levy in 2017, Arch Apprentices is growing rapidly. We are looking to recruit a driven, adaptable Bid/Proposal Writer based at our HQ in Wood Lane, London.

Responsibilities
  • Write, review and edit bidding material, ensuring consistency of message and conformance to customer specification.
  • Contribute to bid research and tracking - client, competition and market.
  • Ensure themes are reflected in bid responses and maximise potential to achieve highest possible quality scores.
  • Liaise with senior level managers across the business and communicate with subject matter experts and stakeholders, ensuring bid content is accurate and timely.
  • Manage all documentation and processes in line with company policies and standards.
  • Other duties and initiatives as determined by the Sales and Marketing Director

About you
  • You will have relevant and successful experience in writing and winning tenders, preferably in the apprenticeships or training space. You'll be able to demonstrate a passion for writing and attention to detail and the ability to translate information technically and creatively.
  • You can project manage, and are tenacious in getting what information you need from different stakeholders
  • You have the ability to make submissions stand out from the crowd
  • You have the ability to explain complex issues, in writing, that can be understood by audiences with varying degrees of knowledge
  • You hold a degree or advanced qualification in English or a related discipline
  • You will have exceptional business development skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
