Venue Manager - Guide Dogs for the Blind

GBP24000 - GBP28,000 pa depending on experience

Full time hours - 40 hours/week

Monday - Friday (to include occasional weekends)

Inspired People as the agency working for Guide Dogs are looking for an experienced Venue Fundraiser with management experience to manage and deliver the in-house face to face venue programme. Lucky Lottery venue team fundraise in venues of all types across London from busy mainline train stations to shopping centres and supermarket lobbies. This is a new role within the organisation and builds upon the established and extremely successful SAP street campaign.

The Venue Fundraising manager will be responsible for:

  • The day to day management of the Venue fundraising staff.
  • Developing relationships with venue gate-keepers.
  • Gaining access to new venues.
  • Representing the programme within the fundraising department at a senior level.
  • Meeting fundraising targets & KPI's

The successful applicant will empathize with the charity and its mission, have venue/ private site experience, be able to manage and coordinate teams of fundraisers to meet fundraising targets & KPIs.

Initially working through Inspired People you will be managing fundraising staff for Guide Dogs' Sponsor a Puppy Campaign. This campaign generates essential income for the charity through regular direct debit payments from the public. You will also be able to provide information to potential donors on the charity and how their money will help.
