Warehouse Manager Horwich, Bolton
GBP23,000 GBP24,000 Monday to Friday 7.30am 4.15pm
We are now recruiting an experienced Warehouse Manager based in Horwich, you will have full accountability of the Warehouse with around 20 direct reports. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of products many of which come across from the middle far east in shipping containers. We are looking for a hands on Manager who would be happy to get stuck in with the rest of the team should you need to.
Main responsibilities:
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
Coach and motivate the team
Plan staff rotas
The role does require a hands on approach
Skills and experience:
Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
